You may know me as one half of the ADU CREW, and yes – that is definitely who I am! But – I’m also the owner and operator of MiMFiT and have been working in the health and fitness industry since 1997. Let me explain.

1 person dies every 6 seconds from diabetes, which is just one of many preventable lifestyle diseases; diseases that can be all but extinguished simply by the population being educated on health and nutrition by someone who is concerned more about people’s health than they are about making money.

I am the owner and operator of MiMFiT and along with registered nurse, life coach and psychotherapist Karen Mace (my mum!), have developed the life-changing 8 Week Healthy You Challenge.’  Together we work with clients to reverse and/or manage lifestyle diseases such as Obesity, Overweight, Type 2 Diabetes, Pre-diabetes, Insulin Resistance and more. Alongside fitness and mindset, a major component in this program is a healthy way of eating, and for me this includes sugar-free, grain/gluten-free, pasture-raised, free range, organic and foods that are as close to natural as possible. I possess an insatiable drive for changing lives and have been working in the health and fitness industry since I was 16.

After working in many different health and fitness facilities across Australia, I decided that working for large corporations was not for me, and branched out training clients privately. I wanted to empower people to actually change their lives and behaviours as opposed to simply putting them through a workout once a week.

I pride myself on helping people reverse their lifestyle related illnesses and regain their health and vitality. I’ve spent many years researching what works and what doesn’t, and many of my methods are controversial and are the opposite of what most people are teaching their clients/patients to follow.
While I continue to hold group fitness classes every week, all of my clients are encouraged to approach their health and weight loss goals by taking a holistic approach which includes mindset as well as fitness and nutrition.

I am a qualified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach and have been working in the industry since 1997.

So … I guess that about sums me up! I love creating recipes and buying new kitchen appliances. Thanks goodness our van is big enough to fit them all in!!
