We love our Yakima gear! It’s the best way we’ve found to carry our mountain bikes on both the caravan and 4×4.

We have retro-fitted racks to the front box of the caravan (See build video here) and we have a place to carry the racks that fit onto the car, on the back of the caravan.

These racks don’t carry the bikes, but are moved to the back of the 4×4 when we arrive at our destinations and unhitch the caravan.

We had the roof rack, Hold up Evo2 and Backswing on the back of the Hilux and now have the same setup on the Chev.
